            The League staged the ever popular Xmas Tournament at the John Hanson School on the Friday, Dec. 19^th. Based upon the Handicap system, the winners this season were two 11 year olds, Mike Cartridge & Evan Gwynn-Davis who narrowly defeated the more experienced Stephen Biles & Kenneth Gates 21-20 in the final set. Biles & Gates were having to concede some 15 points at the start of each set, but showed great determination and skill in taking the match to the last possible point.
